A Librarian maintains a library's collection of books, serial publications, documents, audiovisual, and other materials, and assists groups and individuals in locating, obtaining and using materials. A Librarian also coordinates library activities, facilities, rules, and services.
How do you prepare?
You most likely will need a master’s degree in library science, or a combination of education and experience in the field, to be a Librarian. In most States, school librarians must have a teaching certificate.
